Hello! Thank you for visiting my website! I am Mamiko, a mother of four. My children are already grown up and we live in Denmark. I have always wanted to have my own homepage for homemade toys and crafts. But I have no editing experience. I decided to just jump in and at least try it out, so I am kind of starting out straight out of the box.

Many of my school friends went on to work as kindergarten teachers or other childcare workers. I chose to go a different way earlier in my life, and now I am drawn towards this.

“How can I involve myself towards that? How can I contribute?”
I start by trying to discover my own thing, my own niche. It is OK not to be perfect, try again. These thoughts are my motivation.

“Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” and “Cradle-to-cradle Design”, the goal is for production to be part of a natural process, making sure all parts can find use with enough creativity. I want to learn with you and find examples of this, as I am building this website; and hopefully have fun along the way, too.

The tools of communication have changed significantly since my youth. I am a little concerned that attention is moving away from playing with good old-fashioned toys in traditional ways.
